Terms and Conditions

Safety Guidelines

​

Participate responsibly; you should be in good health to ride safely. You know your physical conditions and limitations. DO NOT RIDE if you suspect your health might be at risk for any reason or if you may aggravate a pre-existing condition of any kind.

You further consent to allow Rail Ventures, LLC to use your image or likeness incidental to any display, transmission, or reproduction of the event. Management reserves the right to refuse admission or eject any person whose conduct is viewed to be disorderly or fails to comply with the terms and conditions herein.

•    No drugs, alcohol, smoking or vaping
•    No Firearms
•    Must be in a healthy physical condition
•    Parental supervision is required for small children
•    Do not feed any animals

•    Do not litter

 

  • Footwear:

Closed-toed shoes are mandatory, and sandals, flip-flops, or bare feet are not permitted.

  • Health:

You must be in good physical condition and able to ride a standard bicycle. Alert staff to any pre-existing health conditions.

 

  • Height & Weight:

Peddlers must meet a minimum height requirement 4 foot, 6 inches, and stay within the maximum weight limit per person 250 pounds.

​

  • Minors:

Children under 16 or 18 (depending on the operator) cannot operate the brakes and must be accompanied by an older, responsible adult. 

Younger children who can not reach the pedals can also ride, as long as they can be securely seat-belted in with or without a booster seat.

Infants can ride at no charge in a front body mounted baby harness as long as the adult can still pedal.

  • Behavior:

Stay on the railbike at all times and keep your feet on the pedals; do not get off during the tour except when bikes are being turned.

​

  • Staff Instructions:

Follow all instructions from staff, including keeping your seatbelt fastened at all times.

 

  • Pets: Pets are not allowed on the railbikes and cannot be left at the location.

​

 

Cancellation Policy:

​

We require cancellations within 48 hours to receive a full refund, no refunds after that, but your tour can be rescheduled.

​

  • No-Shows/Late Arrivals:

No refunds are given for late arrivals or if you do not show up for your tour.

 

What to Bring 

​

  • Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing.

  • Sunscreen, insect repellent, water, and snacks.

  • Appropriate outerwear for the weather, like a hat or windbreaker.

  • A camera to capture the experience.​

 

Before the Tour

​

  • Please Park behind the Silver Lake Station.

  • Everyone must sign a waiver before riding. 

  • We do except walk-ins as long as there is railbike availability.

  • Please see one of our staff members if you need extra assistance, or have questions.
